Information used for a report

A report uses the vehicle details you enter, including the city and province or state. You can optionally save a listing link with it for easy access to the original posting. The link is kept with your private report and is not fetched automatically or sent to the AI model. Please do not include seller contact details, private paperwork or unnecessary personal information.

If you choose to save a draft on this device, anyone with access to the browser may be able to see it. Use the clear-draft control on a shared device.

Saved reports

When you are signed in, each report you generate is saved to your account so you can reopen it from My reports. Saved reports are encrypted at rest, visible only to your account and kept for 13 months. You can delete any saved report at any time. Guest reports are not saved to an account.

Accounts and essential controls

Firebase Authentication handles email/password and Google sign-in when configured. Account identity, essential session data and usage records support the guest, free and paid search allowances.

The service design uses IP-derived and first-party visitor signals to limit abuse. Shared networks can affect guest availability; an IP address is not treated as proof of a unique person.

Daily usage records and short-lived report recovery records are deleted within a few days. Sign-in sessions expire after five days.

Service providers

To identify the vehicle and find recall and complaint records, Lymyn sends the year, make and model to the public NHTSA services of the US Department of Transportation. No account details are sent.

When enabled, Google’s Gemini API receives a minimized set of vehicle facts (year, make, model, trim, price, mileage, seller type, stated condition, city and province or state, and any offer or ceiling you entered) plus public recall summaries to help estimate report sections. Your name, email and account identifiers are never sent. Its data-handling terms depend on the configured service tier.

Subscriptions are sold through Link, the merchant of record service of Stripe. Stripe receives your name, email, billing address and payment details to process the payment, calculate and remit tax, send receipts and provide purchase support. Stripe handles payment details in its hosted checkout and billing tools. lymyn does not collect card details in its own vehicle form. These providers may process information outside your province, state or country.

Analytics and your choices

The hosted service uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand page visits and feature use, such as when a report is generated or a sample is viewed. Advertising features, ad personalization and Google signals are turned off. Analytics events do not include your email, vehicle prices, listing links or report contents.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics collection is turned off. To ask about privacy or account information, or to request deletion, contact [email protected].
