Coverage
Start with Canada or the USA. The vehicle’s country stays attached to its currency, units and relevant sources, even when you switch your display preference.
Canada
Canadian reports use CAD, kilometre or mile inputs and Canadian recall resources. Ownership subtotals include purchase and maintenance only. Confirm tax and registration costs separately.
USA
US reports use USD and accept mile or kilometre inputs. State and local taxes, registration and insurance vary; national intake is not a complete local tax engine.
What this first release covers
The initial focus is personal-use passenger gasoline vehicles and conventional hybrids. It provides price-based offer scenarios, purchase and maintenance estimates and practical buying questions.
EV battery condition, charging costs, plug-in hybrid usage splits, commercial vehicles and specialty appraisals need different methods. Cross-border import duties, compliance and registration advice are outside this release.
What a data gap means
Automated comparable listings, specific maintenance schedules and reliable trim-level matches are not available for every vehicle. A missing lookup does not mean there are no recalls, defects or costs.
You can still use a labelled negotiating estimate and cost scenario. We do not fill a data gap with fabricated listings, vehicle history or a claim of verified market value. Recall and complaint records come from NHTSA, so a few Canada-only models may have fewer records.
